In the summer of 2014, Moira McCarthy--author, blogger, diabetes advocate, and D mom--upped the ante in her fundraising efforts for JDRF's Ride To Cure.

 

She promised to put blue streaks in her fabulous blonde locks for every donation that came in.  And those who know Moira know she is true to her word!

 

So if you are taking part in any JDRF fundraising activities--OneWalk, Ride to Cure, Kids Walks, Galas etc.  putting blue streaks in your hair in return for donations will raise awareness!  Click on the link to set up your own JDRF fundraising page.

 

Maybe your school principal would accept the challenge for every donation the students bring in...or maybe your co-workers or employees.....so many options!
